Boil water notice for Pensilva and Minions area lifted
The precautionary boil water notice which was issued on Tuesday (20 August) to 1,500 properties in the Pensilva and Minions area of South East Cornwall has been lifted today (Thursday 22 August).
Following two days of clear samples we are pleased to be able to confirm that all customers who received a boil water notice will now receive a hand-delivered 'all clear' notice, effective immediately. Where we have telephone numbers for affected customers we will also be contacting them via text or voice message. It is no longer necessary to boil water before drinking or cooking.
Under Our Customer Promise scheme affected customers will receive a cheque payment of £15 within 20 working days.
We apologise for the inconvenience this has caused our customers.
