Waste Water Services
South West Water is responsible for treating and discharging 600,000 tonnes of sewage every day. It is therefore essential that our sewer network is maintained to the highest standards.
In order to keep everything working and to meet the demand of an ever increasing population, we employ a wide range of professionals, from operators running network and treatment processes on a daily basis, to scientists providing operational support.
We are responsible for the management and operation of the sewer network, sewage pumping stations, waste water treatment works and the discharge of treated effluent into the environment.
A technical support and development team work alongside the operational teams bringing together future planning, training, contract development, sludge strategy and the improvement of Waste Water Services as and when the legislative and regulatory environment requires.
If you want to work within a varied and challenging environment, Waste Water Services could be the place for you.
