Metering Contacts Team
The Metering Contacts team manages the contacts from customers regarding their metered supplies.
This is a key role in protecting and enhancing the company's income stream. While most of the routine work is outsourced to our partner, May Gurney, key investigative work is undertaken by customer metering advisors.
Work includes complex supply queries, unexplained consumption, external use metering, providing specialist advice on new connections and investigating suspected fraud. Customer-orientated skills are essential for all posts, as many difficult situations have to be resolved.
Three regional team leaders manage a total of 12 full time customer metering advisors, who each look after a section of South West Water's operational area.
