A favourite starting point for coastal walks, Broadsands attracts many tourists with its rich red sands and colourful promenade, which is lined with beach huts.

With its with rocky headlands and sheltered cove, Broadsands is a firm family favourite holiday destination along the South Devon coast.

The crystal waters are perfect for swimming and sailing. Pedalos are available to hire at the beach, along with classic pitch and putt and deckchairs for relaxing.

Parking at Broadsands car park in Broadsands Road, Torquay. Toilets, food and litter bins. No Surf Life Saving GB club at this beach (Nearest club is Torbay Surf Life Saving Club at Goodrington beach).

There are gentle waves at this beach make it a perfect  for bathing.
